Abstracted summary
Kumbakarna carried off Sugriwa and is about to eat him when he is distracted by the flying Hanoman, Sugriwa recovers from his faint and is about to tear Kumbakarna's ear and bite off his nose. Although Sugriwa escapes the peluarga are basically ineffective against Kumbakarna. At the top Rama with Laksamana and Vibi sana attack Kumbakarna with arrows and he dies. The normal story is that the area at the back of his throat was the only vunerable spot and Rama hit this. Manku Mura however gave a different version that Kumbakarna ate the arrows and died of too much iron! As he falls Delem and Sangut flee from 2 monkeys with rocks [ref LC]
