| Abstracted summary |
1. The upper part of the painting depicts Hanuman in battle with Rawana’s army. This scene is divided off from that below it by a wall.
2. Below we see Hanuman on the right seated before Sita. The two parekan, Twalen and Mredah sit behind Hanuman. He holds up the ring to identify himself as Rama’s envoy. Below there is a small vignette in which we see women bargaining in a market place? [ref PW 2005]
