Malat. The landing of the king of Malayu (Melayu) at Tuban. On the left, Prabu (king) Malayu and his two wives and followers land in two boats. The followers unload the boat in an inset above this. On the right, in the upper scene, the king and his entourage pray to the god of the south by making the sembah (prayer) gesture above their heads, to denote the highest form of respect. In the lower scene, the local lord or Adipati of Tuban pays his respects to the king of Malayu. Interesting 19th century langse of some quality.;
