Extended description
Bharata Yuddha. The death of Abimanyu, son of Arjuna. At the right-hand end of this ider-ider, the Pandawa brothers and their allies are shown, while at the left-hand end we see their opponents, the Korawa. Abimanyu is depicted going into battle and being killed by the arrows of the Korawa. Subsequent to this, he is cremated in a gajah-mina or elephant-fish sarcophagus. This painting is interesting because of its depiction of a cremation and also for some of the details of the background, such as the prasada type of tower depicted in the audience scene of the Pandawa.;
