Ramayana. The building of the bridge to Lengka. In the lower left-hand scene Rama and Laksamana, together with Wibisana, are seated on the left, and on the right are the leading monkeys, including Nala, who kneels at the front and makes the sembah gesture to Pama, and Hanuman, who stands at the back. In the scene to the right of this one, the god Baruna kneels and pays homage to Rama and Laksamana. The scene on the right also extends across the top of the other two scenes, and shows the monkeys bringing rocks to build; the bridge. The building is carried out with monkey-like commotion. This is a non-Kamasan work, and the air motifs indicate that it may come from Bangli (?). An old work in a langse type of format, the canvas is greyed from mildew and the colours somewhat washed out.
