Top scenes: Smara shoots the meditating Siwa with his love arrow. Main scene: Siwa in Pamurtian form burns Smara, while the deities look on.
Abstracted summary
Very fine version of the scene. Attribution to Rambug by Ny Mandra, 1979. Previously used in a temple in Kamasan, as the wear marks show. Still in Kamasan in 1979, later sold via Woven Souls (website https://wovensouls.com/collections/narrative-art/products/410-antique-painting-bali-ramayan accessed 17/07/2020).
