B643 Notes on a picture Story Sang Sampean — picture ? by I B M Togog no date ; (picture dated 4 April 37) Sang Sampean is a tonja. Ida Sang Peraboe of Daha was hunting and he found two trees of species Tjemara. He promised that if anyone could move the trees to the Djero Daha, his palace, he would give them whatever they asked for. Sang Sampean undertook the job, and dug up the trees and succeeded in moving them. He demanded the Galoeh Daha in marriage. She was accordingly taken into the forest and left on top of a stone. A monkey helped her to climb up a tree. Sang Sampean came and butted at th the tree to uproot it - but his horn stuck in the trunk of the tree and he died .
